Even if we set aside the scientific names of microbes that have entered our lives under names like Covid-19, Beta, Influenza, RSV, and many others, what would change in our lives if we just said, as before, “I caught the flu”?
Microorganisms—mostly viruses and bacteria—actually cause disease depending on where they settle in the body, and their names also give their names to diseases.

Even if we know their real names or not, like every living species their priority is to survive in nature and increase their numbers. Of course, we’re not saying we should let them live, but looking at the process this way may make disease management and perspectives easier.
Our priority should always be protection and awareness. If we want to protect both ourselves and our families from such illnesses, we must first learn how to protect ourselves.
First and foremost, it is known that adequate sleep, healthy nutrition, drinking plenty of fluids, regular physical activity, a lifestyle that tries to stay away from stress, proper and sufficient hygiene habits, and vitamin or glutathione supplements taken under a doctor’s supervision strengthen the immune system and are effective in protecting against diseases.
Contrary to popular belief, none of these guarantees that you won’t get sick; however, they minimize the likelihood of encountering illness and also give individuals an advantage in fighting the disease compared to others.
It should not be forgotten that, regardless of the period we are in, extra care must be taken with people in risk groups during protection from infections, monitoring, and treatment processes.

As with any illness, getting the correct diagnosis and treatment is crucial for these types of diseases as well.
Today, there are methods that make the diagnostic process faster and easier. This allows multiple tests to be performed simultaneously and a rapid diagnosis to be made.
As also recommended in information frequently updated by the World Health Organization, every treatment is individualized and each patient should be evaluated separately.
Especially after diagnosis, having treatments recommended by a physician will also lead to faster recovery with the right approach.
In summary: focus first on prevention, then on early diagnosis and the right treatment methods.
