Patient Rights Training for the Bir Adım Sağlık Team

To raise awareness about the rights of patients and their families in healthcare services, the Bir Adım Sağlık team came together with healthcare law experts. During the meeting, the team received comprehensive training on patient and patient relative rights.

Organized in collaboration with the Patient and Patient Relatives Rights Association, the training covered the importance of patient rights in healthcare delivery, the legal rights patients and their families have throughout healthcare processes, and the responsibilities of healthcare professionals. During the sessions led by healthcare law specialists, fundamental patient rights such as the right to information, the right to privacy, and the right to accept or refuse treatment were examined in detail.

The training also included discussions on possible legal situations that may arise during healthcare services and the importance of proper communication methods. Participants gained valuable insights into both patient safety and the ethical and legal framework of healthcare services.

Representatives of Bir Adım Sağlık emphasized that healthcare is not only about medical care, but also about respecting patient rights and ensuring accurate communication, highlighting that such training programs are an essential part of the organization’s culture.
