Aging Population from an Economic Perspective

Bir Adım Sağlık also took part in the first breakfast event of LEAD Network Türkiye in 2025, hosted by Pozitera.

The main focus of the event, which brought together many professionals from the business world, was on expectations regarding the Turkish economy in 2025, business world forecasts, the impact of the aging population on the economy and social life, and strengthening the role of women in business.

The guest speaker of the event, Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin, Rector of Topkapı University and a well known economist, shared his evaluations regarding the economic outlook for 2025. During his speech, he emphasized that the rapidly aging population in both Türkiye and the world would create significant effects on economic structures, the workforce, and healthcare services.

Participants also exchanged ideas on the new needs that an aging population may create in healthcare, economics, and workforce planning.

The event concluded with discussions focused on strengthening the role of women in business and the economy, while supporting social transformation through greater gender equality.
