Support for the “My Teacher, Hold My Hand” Project

Today, we once again accomplished meaningful work together.

Teacher training sessions have officially begun as part of the “My Teacher, Hold My Hand” Project. The program started with a strong foundation through the first module of the certification program, “Health Promotion and Sustainability.”

Our Founder and General Manager at Bir Adım Sağlık also took part among the educators in this module. Together with her valued friend Seda Çağlar, with whom she has walked side by side since 1998, she opened the program. With her usual energy and depth, the association president, dear Melek Okur, enriched the training with thought provoking questions and inspired all participants.

Throughout the training, volunteer teachers experienced an applied empathy focused awareness activity within the framework of the theme “understanding children.” By using a simulated IV line visual, participants were encouraged to better understand the anxiety, fear, and uncertainty children may experience and to approach these emotions with greater awareness and sensitivity.

Before the training, Bir Adım Sağlık stood by our volunteer teachers by distributing hygiene kits containing masks and disinfectants. Once again, we emphasized the importance we place on protecting and sustaining health through this meaningful project.

We are truly happy to stand together in every project that touches society and in every step that places health at its center. 💓
